Yep with help from my other friends on the forum

Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

Might need this done myself. Seems to be a whining noise coming from the engine and I think its the turbo. I would like to do it myself it its not too difficult.

Take the rad pack off which makes things a lot easier.
Get all the gaskets including the oil filter for the turbo from VX (I replaced all the studs and nuts as well).

Its a few hours work but reasonably straight forward

    Interesting - an additional filter?

Did you prime the turbo with oil first before firing up?

So you just removed the rad? Nothing else perticularly?

    thanks mate

done a few taking the rad out will make it easyer but have most of the time leave it on just so i dont have to fill it back with water lol

    but always prime a turbo
and always do a oil change
if you get a recon turbo they say take the sump of and clean or replace the pick up and clean the oil pipes
