Default Increase turbo on 2.0t and bsr remap

Wondered if anybody knows if by increasing my turbo to an aero 2.0t form the saab, will the bsr tuning box understand the difference or would I have to e-mail them and ask?

The BSR box is set with one particular map.. so i would imagine substituting another turbo would affect the mapping, making it not run to it's best..

If you do fit the 'aero' turbo, you may have to get a live map written for it.

gutted would take mine up to 241, as the aero is 210 standard only difference is the turbo.
might speak to bsr and find out to be on the safe side otherwise 500quid on the bsr wasted.

i wonder if software is avaliable if they would 'trade-in' your old map 'box' against a new one??.. worth an ask??

you current one is no good to anyone else, so they may trade you up??

There is more than just the turbo that diff.

Turbo, Injectors, Pistons and camshaft .... could be more ...

If you want to go higher than stage 1, at least turbo and injectors will be needed.

    I think you'll find the 120 is 8valve and the 150 is 16valve.
