    Default fitting an ncdc 2013 and gid

    ok here goes

    my ncdc 2013 and gid arrived today ( thank you stephen )
    ive ordered the aerial from ebay for the sat nav and will be ordering a sat nav cd when i can find one !!! ( if anyone has a cd they no longer need please pm me )

    right what i want to know is what part of this how 2

    do i have to do , kenp has already said that i dont need to do part 4 as i already have a gid fitted in my car so the 32 pin plug is already there , i just need to know if there is any other wiring i need to add

    not the best when it comes to electrical stuff

    any help will be much appreciated

    Yes you need to add/change the other wires as described.

    thanks for replying kenp , im still not getting it

    as i dont have a colour screen to fit i take it i dont need the 12 pin plug because theres nowhere for it to go

    also do you really need an sot lead , if you dont that would remove steps 1 to 5

    so that just leaves adding the extra 5 wires from number 6 to number 8

    am i correct or have i missed sometheng

    oh and whats an EEC ?

    No you dont need a SOT lead.. but then you have to change the wiring in the plug.. where you can make the sot-lead so its plugin wiring..

    but no matter what you have to do wiring work.

    ECC = Electronik Climate Control

    and funny most og your questions would be better in the discussion for the how2

    i think ill continue this in the how 2 discussion , but when you said about the sot being a plug in, a light bulb went off in my head and it all became clear

    basically if you do the wiring on the sot and then connect them to the 32 pin plug and eec and diag port it saves cutting the harness in the car and makes it a lot easier to do

    just got to find the right sot lead now

    Watching this thread as I already have the GID and might upgrade to the NCDC 2013 at some point too. The original thread is a wee bit complex and confusing to me too.

    Mark take pics of just what you added wires wise when you do this please.

    basically if you have a GID and want to upgrade to a NCDC with matching GID you need to add 2 wires to get it to function , if you have standard air con that is. These 2 wires go between headunit and display.



    ISO-block pin 33 to GID pin 19
    ISO-block pin 32 to GID pin 20

    Yes u are correct mark it's and easy job mate
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info
