Default Is the Vectra C a good looking car?

    Hello all,

Now I am assuming that most people are here because they like their Vectra but there are many reasons for liking a car; looks, performance, practicality etc. One of the first things that drew me to the car were its looks but through talking to friends and family not many people agree with me. I need some support from the forums

In basic spec form, then i think the vectra is quite an ugly beast and that goes for preface/facelift

Vectras in basic form is not the prettiest ...a little tinkering here and there is required .

Yeah it has a face that only a mother could love in the basic form.
Start adding diffusers, decent bumpers and a lower lip spoiler, and she turns into a right looker.

VX where very bold to go with those Preface headlamps I think.

It's a ok looking car no stunner and there only in high spec motors.

But it's got a huge boot, ample seating for me im 6ft-4" and space for kids behind, it's easy to maintain and parts are fare priced, and many garages can repair them.

For me it's got to be practical the seats have to go down it gets stuffed to the rafters with rubbish to the tip it's a tool not a show piece, i use it & don't abuse it and then it will run for hopefully 8 yrs before i scrap it.!!

practicality was the big factor for me but they are good looking cars also.

a saloon with hubcaps not so much but a nice hatch or estate with alloys and youve got a nice looking car imo.

I am not keen on the standard versions,.. SRI looks great. XP2 looks the nuts!!

PLUS ... it is one of the very few cars on the road which is instantly recognisable, unlike most cars on the road today.
