    Default Cruise Control strange behaviour

    Right ladies and gents.

    My car (04 1.8 LS) 52,000 miles.

The problem is that when the cruise control is on and I press the decrease button, it some times (and not everytime) turns off the CC and the light on the dash goes out.

As the warranty will be up in about 3 months, I would like to have ideas on what it could be and if it's covered by the wonderful VX warranty.

    TIA

I've had that happen very occasionally, usually if I've pressed the decrease button a few times in quick succession.

It's not a regular occurrence, literally now and again, so I've put it down to just a possible software glitch or something.

Hi mate, A couple of us had the problem too:

    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=13163

    http://forum.vectra-c.com/showthread.php?t=6439

Mine settled down and apart from one instance a week or two ago I've had no problems since my thread started (the second one above). That was probably a kiss of death!
