    Thumbs down Name "N" Shame...any legal types in here..

    I wish I could !! "How Very dare they" Well I have had just about enuff of my Vauxhall dealer....There supposed to be members of SMMT & The retail motor industry federation....Not driven new car for 4 weeks now waiting on a report.....They dont answer emails .....They know all the faults.....they dont tell me the truth ....basically ignore me. ... customer care my *** **** They took the ££ fast enuff Its a new car.......where do I go next??

    are you just talking to the main dealer? if so, try calling the vauxhall customer helpline (if they have one) most manufactures do. tell them the problem you are having with the dealer, and make an official complaint.

    like Pimm says.... whats happened?

    Just appear on the doorstep and ask where your car is and when its going to be fixed. get a guarentee for when and if its not demand a refund. accept a part becuase its not likely your going to get much back!

    1/ The colour matched bumpers and skirts/spoiler DONT match the car body.I have posted a pic in a previous thread.
    2/The front bumper has gaps around the front lights,hence at certain resonant speeds it whistles like a world cup ref !
    3/The paint has started to come off around the inside area of the tailgate.
    4/The front suspesion clunks over the slightest bump !
    5/Rear lenses have mildew forming around the edges.as do the side repeter lenses
    6/Where the front wings meet the roof pillars I have a 6-10mm gap on the offside and a 2-4mm gap on the nearside. Just looks like a bad repair !!!
    7/ The NOT SO funny part is the Steering ! 3 times now its just gone solid !! (There are threads regarding this) Twice at low speed and once around a painted traffic island.......Yes it resets itself but so does my cheeks have too !!! You CANNOT control the car when this happens, I dont care what anyone says.

    8/ "Pick a dashboard warning light!" I feel I now know all of mine so well I have sent them xmas cards !!!
    9/ In defence of the service manager He can see the problems as can other members of staff, and has been honest with me BUT ! Wont put anything in writing,and refered me to dealership MD. It took 6 weeks for them to generate a ref number so as i could see a field engineer.It took another 6 weeks for the appointment so as he could do a report.......... I wait 3 weeks for the report, telephone the MD () who arranged for the field engineers appointment...And he says" What report, first I have heard of this So I call VXL's customer service & they say the report has been sent and is in the post SIR !!

    10/ I have all the emails and responses from this dealership logged and it might seem like I have tried to make the issue funny, BUT I am well and truely Ready to blowmy top !!Its my first Brand new car Story maybe to some....But to me as a HNC qualified engineer. WELL I'm developing a nervous

    Jeezzzzz..........Go to your local Trading Standards m8. I don't knw how long you have owned the car but it sounds like you have a good case for a complete rejection under the "Sale of Goods Act 1979"

    How old is the car?, i'm assuming it's not a BRAND new (56 reg) car?. How long have you had it?, what warranty was there with it?

    The car is Brand new,privately owned,factory order? I'm the 1st owner.....I just tried customer services again as I was promised the engineers report was to be posted of Friday 1st Dec 06......Just spoke to a chap at Vxl's costomer care who now says the report has not been signed out yet.........This is the sort of emails Im gettin back from dealership (Edited)
