Saab rear calipers (292mm)

I'm looking to upgrade my brakes on my 1.9dth siggy, i already purchased 314mm calipers and now i'm looking for 292mm calipers for the rear.
Now i know the saab 9-3 has the same calipers as the vec c , and somehow i can find more used calipers for the saab 9-3 as for the vec c.

Does anybody know which saab engines got the 292mm setup in the rear?
Also i have read that when stated that the calipers are for solid discs this means they are for the 278mm discs and when stated they are for vented disc they are for the 292mm disc, anybody knows if this is true?

292 calipers are available on eBay for about £44 each ( new ) and yes they use vented discs dennis

Thanks, these however come without the carriers (it seems). I have seen them on neobrothers complete.
