Facelift Grill on pre facelift model?

Is it possible to add the facelift grille (mainly the thick chrome section) onto the preface lift Vectra.

I like the Irmscher grille but its just a tad boring for my liking lol.

completely different afaik, nothing is impossible but iirc there are 2 different grills for the pre anyway?

Yep. Top Grille on pre-facelift is at the bottom of the bonnet.

I think you could do something with it. I have been thinking about about making a grille for mine. I think i can adapt the new facelift grille insert from the corsa D facelift (2011-on) to fit into a pre-face irmscher style grille (plain black one). Will take a bit of fiddling, sawing, filling, sanding, smoothing and painting etc but i think it will be worth it. As the corsa d facelift has the new large style griffin on it, this may also be swapped for the large opel badge should it be required.

Just an idea ive been thinking on for the past few months, just need to get the bits to have a play now
