for what its worth when i got rid of it i never mentioned the letters VXR cos its nothing of the sort lol

Well she is a 1.8 with near 100K on the clock.. so no, I can't imagine many people will be watching it with a reserve of over £2500
To be honest it doesn't look massively different to mine, except the colour.
Though I love the wheels. The silver floor and the gear nob do it no favours. IMHO

Also when the buyer pulls up at the pub (to get a pint of lemonade obviously), and his mate pulls up in a REAL VXR he's gonna be disappointed.

Get rid of the woeful Gear Nob, crap Carpets, and the "VXR" Wannabe sales pitch and it'll be a rather stunning SRi

Sadly Barry buys many cars, gets bored moves on.
Subtle changes are fine, performance mods are fine, but adding "Turbo" to a VVT is just plain Barry, the fake chequer plate carpets and that now massive gearstick... all signs that there is a Barry in ownership
If he had added VVT-I I could understand it, possibly even condone it depending on the style of the badge... but "TURBO"? C'mon!

I do like the Red and Black scheme going on. The wheels, the Grille, the colour of the car, the side skirts, It might need a XP Lower Spoiler, and a VXR Diffuser at rear.

That IMO would make an nice car look really smart. Maybe even have a boot and/or roof spoiler if you want the tourer look... but sadly Barrys GIRO doesn't stretch to that, so he has to stick with a TURBO badge from Halfrauds.

Moral of the story is to vet who you sell your car too, If they show up with 16 kids, and wearing burberry/adidas/cap. Tell them it's been sold!
