Had that on my previous Mk3 Mondeo
The car was pulled onto a flatbed recovery lorry (the first lorry they sent was not suitable)
The dealership simply drilled through the locks and replaced the entire assembly

Once the car arrived at the dealership they gave me a choice of new locks (get the car back next day) or waiting a few days and keep the existing locks
I advised that was a decision for the warranty company (Ford Warranty)
Ford wanted to keep the existing locks, so I was given a courtesy car for two days

Ironically a few months later the bonnet lock failed, and had to go through the same warranty claim process
Initially they declined it as they (Ford Warranty) thought it was the same lock!
I had to phone them up myself and explain the difference between a steering lock and a bonnet lock
On the plus side it was only the bonnet lock so I was able to use the car until the part arrived
