    Smells like lemons!

To be honest I've never found a smell I really like but I tend to just Febreeze the headlining every week and it keeps the car smelling fresh. Not quite new car smell but it's nice and not as overpowering as a Magic Tree.

Failing that, there's an Ambi Pur plugin thing for air vents that smells of menthol. Love that one but it's a bit hard to find.

A good scrub of the interior with shampoo then a suck up with a wet hoover gets it clean and fresh again, the previous owner of mine was a smoker so it stunk!

Im also addicted to vanilla magic trees which keep it smelling fresh after

Simple housekeeping required, don't leave refuse in the car overnight, the scent will be absorbed by the fabrics and that is the end of that...
Clean (hoover) the carpets and mats regularly
    Clean the glass
Wipe the other surfaces with a cloth and HOT water, and allow to dry
Once you've finished, put two halves of a lemon in a plastic tray, and leave it in the boot overnight, then remove in the morning
The old tricks are the best
