MOT time

Morning, car's off for the MOT today, oil and filter change, fuel filter, cam belt and water pump and brake fluid change.

Results and cost of this will answer if i'll be at the east mids RR meet next weekend. would like to get to it, so i know how the old girls running, and to meet some of the guys, may even have a cheeky remap too.
..
The only reason I want a remap is for eco purposes as I now do circa 20k commuting per year.

I've just about that here. At a well known national garage, they look for a beam pattern only not washers/self levellers...

Yeah just been round and their either all full or closed
But the garages a spoke to said it'll pass as long as beam pattern ok

Ok.... i feel a bit silly now.

Bought the car last year on 3rd May, with 12 months MOT. Therefore assumed i could get a "13 month" MOT today (April 7th).

Wrong - My current MOT doesn't expire until 25th May (garage must have got a "13 month" MOT on it last year when I bought it.

Anyhoo, had cambelt & water pump done, along with brake fluid change, fuel & oil filters and oil.

I'll do air and pollen filters myself in about 30 mins.

Back for MOT next month.....

Well actually should be getting MOT'd this time @ 8.30.

Was thinking of a change, but if no cost for MOT, better the devil you know than the devil you don't.....
