Big is not always best, what sort of music you listen to has a factor. like a 10inch will give you tight controled bass, a 12 will give you not so tight and low, were a 15 is low. Also depends what sort of box you put it in sealed or ported, sealed will give you tight and fast (dance & pop) and ported will give you low and slow (r&b Hiphop). And what hzs you tune your box to aswell.
well last time i only had 2 15s they was 1000watts each 750watts rms with a 4000watt amp that was 2 channel running 2omh at 2650watts rms and it was loud it blow the car to bits but thinking might just get 1 sub rather than 2 not sure i do listern to more dance and rb
I've been looking for a few days and some ppl are saying that some subs might be the same rms and same watts but sound different depending on the name and cost
Fed up off looking now think im just gonna go for the 2 15s 3600watts max 1800watts rms with a 6000watt amp at 1.2d 2ohmstable 3800watts rms should do the job
What sort of budget are you looking at? Try not to get too influenced by the outputs that some manufacturers write on their kit..... to get decent advice on subs\amps head on over to www.talkaudio.co.uk
ive bought 12" sealed sub but also bidding on a 12" ported one as well only because ive not made my mind up yet i feel the 12" is going to give me the best of both worlds ive always gone for 10" sealed in the past but with age my taste in music has carmed down but looking at my 12" one sat in the boot at the moment not wired in yet it seems lost so might get 2 x 12" subs and test both out or just have both in the boot
