    Default Headlights, Continental Driving

Hi guys. Read in the manual, that the lights can be ajusted to allow for driving on the continent. Am off to France for a long weekend and was wondering how easy it is to do, rather than buy those stick on deflectors. Cheers in advance

If it's a pre facelift, it's really simple. Suggest having a dry run before you go though, as it can be awkward getting your hand in.

I've got it down to about a 4 minute job in the que for the tunnell!

    Less if it's raining!!

Basicall, get your hands in the back of the main headlight bulb cover, have a little poke around and you'll find a lever, push it into the direction it will go, refit cover, drop bonnet, get on boat / train.

Back the other end, do the same, only the other way around.

    Childs play.

Oh, and you need to do each headlight only.

Post facelift - sticky things on the lights and even they aren't good unless they go on top of headlamp protectors. I asked and was told that there wasn't a solution apart from the above.

I have to turn the adjuster down low to avoid dazzling others (drive on continent about once a month) and praying not to get pulled by the nice cheese eating surrender monkey boys in bleu .....

    Any practical suggestions welcome
