    Default Diesel chrome exhausts

    any one know of the best cleaner to get rid of the sut build up, ive got vxr exhausts and use chrome polish , this works great but will not gert rid of the crud on the bottom lip of the exhaust ?

    Hard toothbrush, maybe try a bit of an acidic wheel cleaner on it?

    wheel cleaner , might give it a go cheers. tried a tooth brush with chrome polish no luck

    i use a toothbrush on mine and some chrome polish . then when clean seal them with some wax . got any pics off them khalid

    i use Autosol metal polish , it cleans it off straight away

    I use this wire wool fine grade only £4 and you get loads it works a treat on my vxr tips with autosol

    fine wire wool and metal polish would be my recommendation.

    the only thing is being a diesel is that they soon get sooted up again ,

    ****** hell Khalid, you clean the inside of your exhaust as well

    I have the same problem, as soon as you boot a remaped, cat free oil burner. Witch is why mine is always black
