    Default Vectra 2.5 v6

    Anyone on here have any idea what these are like I can't afford a c 3.2 I used to own a vectra b years ago and loved it even tho was a 1.8 ls and I know going to look well out dated inside compared to the c

    I think they are very good. But I don,t think that a 3.2 would be too much more to run though.

    Yh I had one, would never go back to one, very thirsty, temperamental and can get much better cars for the price of one

    I had a B gsi as my first vectra and to be honest i dont reckon theres much difference between that and the running cost of the C gsi i have now..

    Must admit they are nice cars but as you say they are dated to the C.

    Like what mate there under a grand and low miles most have 70 100 miles and come with loads of things like full leather or half I like the mondeo Zetec s 2.5 v6 but a lot have been to the moon and back

    I bought an old 2.0ltr Audi for £600, it cost a fortune to run (20mpg) and stuff kept falling off. If you're buying a car under a grand, you either need to buy it with 12 months ticket and flog/scrap it in 11 months or get used to the idea that you just made best friends with a serious money pit!

    Coolant temp sensors
    Throttle position sensors
    Cam cover gaskets
    Egr
    Cracked manifolds especially rear around the egr pipe
    bad water pumps
    Aux belts like to break the tensioner and shred the belt which goes straight through the cambelt

    Those are just a few things

    Gsi should have recaro seats, extremely rare to have leather ones, I've only ever known maybe 2 sets from factory
