Don't know about everywhere else but this weather is atrotious! Erskine Bridge was closed due to high winds last night had to go abck to Glasgow and use the Clyde Tunnel, coming home was a nightmare, hit a patch of water at about 60 in a dip on a dual carriage-way, the car was like a boat hitting water i **** myself, almost was an accident. Gives u something to think about when something like that happens. I guess its nothing compared to what happened to Caterman.. sorry bud so yeah to echo what Spoons said, lets all slow down these next few months people... I for one can admit to being over confident at times, these conditions are unforgiving.

I was nightshift last night working on an oil terminal in the middle of the River Forth, 90 mph winds and the place was swaying with the wind and waves...really weird feeling because it's anchored to the seabed....it was good the hit the beach this morning at the end of the shift.

This morning comming in we couldn't ereally get above 50 mph cause the motorways were flooding, lots of spray etc. At one point we were doin 25 mph and that felt too fast!!!!

this morning comming back over woodhead from manchester u couldn't see the road there must have been 3 inches of water plus the bouncing rain on top. pretty scary

really crappy night all round went from here to leicester then up to carlise and across to bradford then back home constantly fighting high winds not fun when the 2nd run was with a double deck trailer nearly 16 foot high
much prefer the lighter summer breeze

Horrible here, wild and windy, cats getting blown all over the garden, and just waiting for the fencing to fly off across the street!!! Spare a thought for Drinky, who will be out at the side of the railway, playing with his trains all night..............ah no, wait a minute, he's in charge - so he will be tucked up safely in his little hut playing the PS2 and eating KFC!!! (only kidding sweetie, I know you work hard really!!! )
