ouch hope you get it sorted mate
Suspect either slave or master cylinder failure...
0-Large smile ......every time it's driven
Cheers guys , well it's ok again....v strange
Happened to mine, ended up with new master, dmf and clutch
Hope not Casey dmf clutch and slave were only changed 30000 miles ago
It was the slave causing the fault on mine so there was no point in not doing the dmf as it was rattling too. They changed the master to see if that fixed it and it didn't but the cheeky barstewards still charged me for it! I wasn't too happy as I gave them the car to fix using their many years of wisdom not just to change every random component on the car until they eventual hit on the right one... well that's what happens when the misses deals with it.
its happened to me twice i was told just lift it up with your foot or bend down and pull it back up, then was told if it stays down its the master cylinder and needs replacing, it seems to happen if your foot is slightly on the clutch so either foot fully down when starting or foot totally off the clutch
Mine sometimes does this normally after a long drive, and on start up it makes a horrible banging noise and clutch stays to the floor than you stall it because the bite is really low.
Am going to try a new cylinder but does the clutch have come out?
Happened me one night, comin out of work, went to go into 3rd gear and pedal stayed on the floor, was my clutch master cylinder that needed replacing, easy enough to do yourself! Sorted my car, now in saving for new dmf and clutch lol
