    Thumbs up successfull dpf removal

Hi all just had my dpf removed from the car and the file removed from the ecu (after many problems), To great success I might add. What a difference it has made, It runs better seems smoother, more power through the revs and the mpg seems more... all for £400 !! So if anyone is looking for a good garage in the surrey area I highly reccomend PIPERS auto services in Dorking, They have helped me out no end !

Was that many problems with the file removing or previously with the DPF? Will this affect the emissions test on a MOT?

Not on a diesel, it's just a soot test and as not all of the vecs have dpf's it will be ok. Even with the new mot just bash the insides out and it still looks like its there.
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Cost me £400 for the removal and remap, I had loads of problems with the Dpf previously as it was blocked beyond repair, so glad I have had this done. It is ok for the mot as mine passed the day after it was removed with no difference than what you would expect with the Dpf still fitted! It does make you wonder why they fit them in the first place other than the tax break !!
