Hi, Struggling a bit on this one - this is for the 2.2dti Zafira - not certain it will be the same as yours but would have thought so. If you can give me year and reg no I'll do a bit more searching if this is no good.
Right think this is the correct one for your car
Which is similar to the Zafira above but has P/steering instead of idler.
Are you ok fitting it?
1. Jack up car and support
2. You can remove RH road wheel for access but i didnt
3. Just above the bottom pulley (biggest one) there is the tensioner
4. On its backplate is a hex bolt, put a ratchet and socket on there and push anti clockwise. This will release the tension from the belt (but you have to hold it there)
5. Slip off old belt.
6. Slowly release tensioner.
7. Fit new belt and when coming to the last pulley pull back tensioner with ratchet again to allow you to slip belt over the last pulley.
8. Release tensioner
The other thing to watch is did the belt break cleanly - or did it shred into strands - if it did shred be careful strands have not wrapped themselves around the crankshaft pulley and got onto the timing belt pulley - mate of mine had this happen and it threw the cambelt off.
