will a cd30 connect my cdti veccy ok ??
cd30 will work on full can cars only i believe, but may go on earlier models with modification, full can cars have scroll wheels on steering wheel.
my vivaro had a cd30mp3
didnt have a scroll on the steering wheel
maybey it was full canbus though ? 57 reg
Yep - any Vectra-C manufactured (not sold) after September 2004 will be Full CAN.
Not all cars have control buttons and scrollers on the steering wheel... My Full CAN 2005 Vectra didn't... it does now, along with CD70 and CID.
It originally had CD30 and TID (with clock buttons on the bezel).
Also, as your diesel is a 1.9CDTi, then it is indeed full CAN....
Regarding CD30, yes this will fit your car, however this is the basic head unit for the Vectra-C.
If you want superior sound quality, then the CDC 40 with GID is recommended
If you want to play mp3's burnt onto CD's, then your options are
CD30 mp3 and BID or GID, or
CD70 Navi with GID or CID.

Didn't Vx fit some of the CD30's to half can bus cars?
eg, the Meriva-A, and Corsas from 2004'ish.
I am not 100% sure, as Vx played with some funky ideas between 2000 and 2005.
The weirdest being the fitment of the NCDC2013, NCDC2015 to Vectra-C and Omega-B. As these radio uses mid-speed CAN communication (same as full CAN vehicles), but retained half CAN (ISO) connectors and wiring.
The Omega-B had no CAN communication as such from other modules to the audio system.
As far as I am aware, ALL CD30's are Full CAN units with quadlock rear connectors.
But Vx were still fitting cassette players and basic radio only head-units to some full CAN Corsa-C's in that era.
(CC20 Cassette player and R10 radio for those that wish to know).
I think the Half CAN bit comes in with regard to the display unit, as the Corsa-C still had some input signals direct to the display, rather than via the BCM etc.
