Magnatec Oil in 1.9 cdti 150, Any one used it?

Has any one ever used the
Castrol Magnatec 5W30 Vauxhall Oil 4 Litre

I know a lot of people here say to use the GM stuff, but i cant help but wonder if this is any good, I have used it in older cars previously, and had good results. But has any one got any experience with this in the 1.9cdti 150 engine?

I used Magnatec in my 1.8 up until 2 weeks ago. Got offered VX Dexos2 at a good price from my local. Now whilst it certainly initially made the engine quieter i'm finding its no where near as quiet at start up on the VX as it was on the Magnatec. I foresee a move back to Magnatec before next winter.

I use this on a 120 cdti, I cacn't remeber the exact spec but it's a3/b4 compliant. Nice and quiet on start up.

I have used it for the last 55k (Costco always have it at trade price) no problems. 150 Cdti.
