I had to jump into Glasgow the other day, so rather than drive I thought I would park at the station then (rather unsurprisingly,,,) get the train.

I came back it was snowy and wet so just got in and drove home.

I noticed yesterday that some kind loving person had stolen my metal tyre valve caps!!!!!

How pathetic and stupid. I guess it would be kid's but AAAARRRRRGGGHHHH

Its a pain in the arse , i am now on my 3rd set of valve caps , these ones are locked on with the small allen key now though, lets hope they stay on

Its not kids. Fil-4833 off here came back to his car and saw a guy walking away from it who then jumped into another Vectra and drove off. He didnt think anything of it at the time thinking he was just looking at his car (as it is immaculate)

Got home and his valve caps had been stolen. Now it may just be coincidence but he was the only person seen crouching down near his car.

Some people want what you've got no matter how small it is.

I am off to ebay for a replacement set.

I have had these on the car for 19 months this was I think the most "exposed" place I have left the car, and it will sadly be the last if I can help it.

I gave up on metal valve caps 14 years ago, they lasted about 3 weeks. My dad tried with the ones that can be used with a spanner, but he couldnt get them off and had to get new valves fitted, lol.

Run a wire from a capacitator that charges from the battery, when someone touches them, they get a nice shock...... hmm,

Better idea, set up a Tazer gun......
