So one of the first thing I did was test fit the bentley wheels to see how they looked on the siggy.




Desperately needs lowering

Noticed the siggy had cooling brake ducts which my vectra doesnt have...

Once it had settled I raised it another 10mm just for extra clearance and because I didnt want to destroy the arches before the work had been done on them. Still another 30mm to go if i want though

Ooooh looking forward to seeing the progress on this one being an ex 2.8T Siggy owner. These really are great cars for the money and can't wait to see how it turns out.

Thanks mate. It was the likes of yourself, soulman, caveman nige and signumboy that helped me decide to go for the signum And of course Spoons VXR helped with the engine choice too Very impressed so far and it hasnt even been mapped yet.

Sounds like you have some great ideas for the signum! I liked the mag feature on the veccy, good work!!

Thanks The dream was always for the cover but I knew my vectra diesel with circa 190bhp couldnt make the cover of total vauxhall regardless of how it looks because of its tuning background. The Signum isnt very known on the vauxhall scene but we'll see how far I can take this one

I heard he was thinking of going for the charred look by setting it on fire again

Fire is a very creative way of going for matt black though

Pretty sure of its good enough for an £80k RS6 estate, its good enough for a £5k Signum estate.

Anyway most scoffed when satty first posted pics of his Bentley wheels, and had to retract. If anyone can do it tastefully it will be satty.

Cheers bud. As with the vectra it isnt going to be to everybodys taste but the aim is to keep it tasteful and all OEM looking with alot of subtle mods.

One of my favourite things about the build of the vectra was when my friends who arent really into cars saw it after some new mods were done and they knew something looked different on the car but couldnt quite point out why the car looked better. Even better was when my friends mums and girlfriends (who passionately hate modified cars) complimented on how nice my car looks

So this is what the porsche wheels look like


I've never seen them on any car before (except an actual cayenne) so wasnt sure what these would look like in person but on the photoshops I did in my head they looked awesome . They are a very high ofset ET60 so mega spacers would be needed to make them fit. I fitted the bentleys beforehand so I could calculate what size spacers I would need to order.

I decided to go with FK adapters over H&R because they do a 35mm adapter. Now this would make the fronts more aggresive than what the bentley wheels are but the rears would still be a little tucked compared. So I initially only bought one axel so I could test fit and measure if I would have to get custom adapters made up for the rear.

















I then decided not to go as crazy with the stretched tyres on these rims compared to the vectra. The wheels are 9J (same as the bentleys) but I went with 225/35/19 tyres for the front and 235/35/19 on the back. nowhere near as stretched compared to the 215/35/19's I have on the bentleys.

Two tyres were mounted for another test fit






I chose to get another set of 35mm adapters for the rears as I dont want it too aggresive so the chunkier tyre on the rear catches on the arch. BUT I may eventually end up getting a custom wider set made for shows.
