    Default Navi 70 Aux In

    Hi, i own a 2007 Vectra

    im wanting to use the Aux in to connect my phone, will my radio have the 3.5mm jack socket on the back already being 2007 model?

    Aux in is not enabled on my head unit i see so i may need to get that activated too..

    can anyone guide me here ?

    You will need to have the latest software, then it has to be Tech 2 to show up in the menu and finally you will need to solder some surface mounted components onto the main board. Oh and wire in an auxiliary socket. The components were available on Ebay.

    May be easier just to use a small transmitter?

    I have a Navi 70 and havent bothered.

    i also wanted to add aux to my nav70 but looks a pain. ive tried one of them fm transmitters but it was crap.

    I have used FM transmitters with good results on my MP3 player. Got to choose a frequency well clear of normal radio stations.

    I believe there is someone on here that can do the conversion for you?

    Mine is called an Istuff? In fact I acquired it from an ex-girlfriend. So it was free!!

    As stated above the trick is to find a good clean channel well away from other main radio stations.

    I have attached some pics of what i found behind the head unit dont know if its a simple connector i now need seen a few things on ebay but unsure

    Try searching on aux in mate as yours is pre 2007 you will need this thread as aux in is not compatable in standard for for your HU.
