    Default GSI suspension change..

I want to lower my car a few mm, but not sure what suspesnsion to buy.

I've bought lowering kits before and had good success, but this time I'm thinking of coilovers.

Can anyone suggest coilovers, hopefully not too expensive or a decent lowering kit or places to look for them?

Problem is I'm not sure of height drop yet...

Go for eibatch's pro kit (sportline)
Its a 30 mm drop from standard. I'm running them on my design shocks. The two make a fantastic combo low smooth and firm. with very little body role in the corners. with excelent road holding.
    They cost me 159 delivered.

I've found some coilovers by AP for £440.02. Anyone got any thoughts on these?

Used to use ap coilovers on my BMW 330 coupe. Ride was great for coilovers but the construction of the units didn't reflect the price tag. Adjustment rings seized solid in no time and a mate who had them on his astra coupe the rear shock failed in no time. Best setup I had to date was the koni coilovers on my Astra. Fully dampening adjustable as well as height. Swapped the rear springs for fk springs and platforms and made a excellent setup

Hmm, thanks for the info. Now I'm not sure what to buy. I can't really afford Koni...

The Eibach pro-kit will only lower a GSi a further 15mm as they are already 15mm lower than other models.

I opted for the Pro-kit and Koni Adjustable shocks for mine.

TBH, Doesn't sit the best at the front, but the handling has made me move on from that fact.
