Remapped

Finally got my car remapped up at mas in yorkshire! I also got the DPF removed and replaced with a straight pipe and the EGR disabled!

Power before - 144bhp

with fooked egr and leaking inlet manifold (swirls)

After 182bhp + 400Nm

would have been more if inlet was sorted but that will have to be next on the to do list. ben said it wasnt too bad and still seemed to have a reasonably good seal.

Driving home was great, the acceleration is a big improvement, and overtaking is effortless! I was quite surprised how much of a difference it made. MPG was averaging at 54 on the way home (not driving normally, was having too much fun!!) and the trip on the way up there was 47mpg.

All in all, one happy bunny!

sounds good bud how is the pick up nice and smooth power delivery or a big dollop of grunt?

TBH its very smooth! the graphs are very smooth too. Its still nice and docile below 2500 but after that it builds nice and gradually. Very impressed with ben up at mas! would recommend him to anyone!

His remaps are good, Though i am again, slightly confused here. When i was emailing Ben at MAS he couldnt book me in this week (after i had my inlet fitted) as he was going away Monday - Friday this week. Would have prefered mine done after my new inlet was fitted, i wouldnt have been able to get up for 2 weeks after this week, so had to go before my inlet.
