    Default Harsh ride

    Afternoon all,

Mods sorry if you feel this is in the wrong place.

I currently have b8's with eibachs and 245/30/20 tyres fitted to the Vec. Now as I expected this setup has always been a little harsh. However it is deffinately getting worse.

So other than the shocks (which have covered 10000 miles so should be fine), what should I consider changing?

The car has done less the 20000 miles, but is an 07 plate so could it just be a case of replacing bushes due to age?

    Any advise welcome

    Cheers

    Ziggy

Maybe the suspension has finally just "settled". I doubt the bushes are past it since its done quite low miles.

I have the B6 shockers on mine and i thought the ride on those was harsh!! And thats on the standard 17" alloys on 225/45's. So yours must be even harsher

Did you get four wheel alightment done when you had finished fitting the B8's and springs?
Lois Griffin: Peter! You're bribing your daughter with a car?
Peter Griffin: Ah, c'mon, Lois, isn't 'bribe' just another word for 'love'?

Yup had the alignment done twice in the past 10000 miles. The second time it was still perfect.

Yep but im comparing them over 10000 miles. I know how they started and how they feel now. Even with my 17s over winter they were worse then the same setup last winter
