    i got 1.8vvt and someone mentioned an easy to do an airbox mod but what is it and what does it do?

    just open up the air box and take out the top section of the inlet cover ,this just allows an even flow of air through your air filter .

    it just unclips ,but you might break the clips as many ppl do ,then just bin it .
    theres probibly an How2 ...

    Take off the top of the airbox, remove the filter and then you'll see a funnel/trumpet shaped piece of plastic running backwards from the front of the airbox, along the bottom directing air from the inlet hose.

    It's easy to identify as I think it's the only thing in there....

    You pull this off (probably breaking the clips as stated previously), refit the filter and airbox lid. Done. Simples.

    Its what I did on ya old car mate when we was in Manchester
    Vectra vxr custome remaps egr deletes dpf and diagnostic work all remaps are custome bench tuning avalible all genuine equipment PM for info
