electrical problem?

got a vectra c ls 1.8 2002

and my button for the windows and mirrors dont seem to work? the mirrors will never adjust at all but the windows wil if i press down really hard but they work when they want to , could this be a fuse , or??

what would be my first thing to check please

any advice any one will give me , be much appreciated

Switch contacts need cleaning, its very common with the Vecs. There's a howto in the howto's section for it. Pop the switch assembly out, take it to bits, clean the contacts and re-assemble, very easy, very quick job.
