Bought and fitted a new EGR a couple of weeks ago. Today, I checked the old one and the solenoid was stuck fast. I followed the how to on here, really easy and the EGR is as new now. I switched on and off 12v across its terminals and the valve open\closes as it should now. Could have saved some money if I did not buy one first. Oh Hum. At least I have a useable spare now.
