Default money saving - brake pads

    Hey

Its come to the time when the rear pads need replacing....but I'm pretty hard up for cash (hence why I'll be doing it myself) the usual car parts places are charging from £25 - £40 for a set of rear pads....what do people think about using these?

    http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/REAR-TP-Br...item43ae17016b

    They're for a 2006 1.9CDTi (120)

    Thanks for any help

IMO you get what you pay for and scrimping on brake pads isn't somewhere I'd be doing.

For a tenner more you'll get a set of half decent ones

Have you asked your local dealer mate as i know vauxhall are trying to keep there parts prices down, it may be a case of just a few pounds more for the genuine pads that are so much better ?

These are all fair points, and you're right. Anyone know a good place to get the mintex ones from? Will call the main dealer in the morning, see what they're offering
