    Default ****** irmscher

    Anyone on here help please
Been told god knows how many diffrent answers to my problem. So here goes

Got a 07(57) plate facelift Sri 1.9cdti. Got standard shocks and springs .so I put a set of irmscher lowering sport springs on the car
4 months later all 4 shocks are shaged. All at once. So I'm told the car has done a fare few miles and shocks only last 70 k or so. Ok it's done the 100 k so change them
Now no one will supply me with any shocks to fit my car with the irmscher springs on
Rang vauxhalls. No go to a set with irmscher springs on. As they are not designed to work with them( me thinking diffrent) but that's wht 3 dealers told me. Monroe won't vogue won't and 4/5 more diffrent compnys won't as they will not guarantee them as they will bottom out and will **** up everything
So I rang LMF. And they told me they will supply me with bills teens b4's or sumit but have not got any
So if they fit and work with the springs why won't any others fit and work

Ideas please. Before I lose interest and burn the ****** thing out

Just fit standard Sri shocks they'll be fine.

My Astra was lowered 50mm on standard shocks an had no problems.

B6's will be better as b4's aren't designed for lowered springs but b6 and 8s are

    Default

B6's are designed as a sports shock for use with lowered springs b4's are designed to be more in line with standard fit but better wearing.

b4's do work with lowered chassis not so sure about Irmscher springs but work with sri springs (lowered chassis)

B6's all the way but they are expensive.
How much lower is the cover over standard?
Standard SRi springs are 15mm lower than standard, Eibach springs will lower a further 15mm so 30mm over standard.
What does Irmscher say their drop is? If its more than 30mm then you will really need B6's or even B8's depending on the drop
