    Default Rear Shocker Fault

Just sharing my recent problem with. For a while i have had a strange noise from the rear of my 2003 Vectra sxi. A noise that me and my missis have been calling the 'pigeon'. Obviously as it sound just as a pigeon does.

After trying various common problems such as boot latch adjustment it turned out to be the o/s/r shock absorber. These are so easy to change and fairly cheap. Mine cost me £52 fron CES.

I hope this thread will help someone as other post have helped me!

Did it squeek like a silvercross pram! Ours does! I thought it was the spring to start with. Changed em but its still there....also changed the ARBs to Powerflex...and its STILL there!

Thinking it could only be the shocker now!

Yes i would say it is the shockers probably the drivers side 1 but you best to change the pair. Like i said they cost me £52 inc VAT for the pair. If you have access to a pit it does make it easier to change them but not too bad if not, 2 bolts and they off.
