    Default Where do I stand?

Right I've had my bumper and side skirts resprayed by a local respected company and the finish is absolute crap and they've even ruined my vxr insert"/ now I've paid and come home before noticing the extent of the work, so where do I stand if I was to phone and complain tomorrow? If they say tuff then is there anything I can do?

Phone and complain if your not happy with the finish they havent done the job properly, doesnt matter if you have come away and gone back. If they say tuff phone trading standards and see what they can do.

If its a good bodyshop they will have some kind of warranty so go back and complain and they should sort it.

Thanks for the quick replies guys will be on the phone to them tomorrow and also take it down to them, the finish is bumpy (even though he washed the bumper with dirty gritty water and moped with a rotary) and the vxr insert has had the clips that clip it to the support bar cut off

You should have been issued with a lot of paperwork for such work
Usually on the back of the receipt are the basic warranty terms
Personally, take the car back right away and point out the issues
Give them a reasonable amount of time to correct the issues
If they advise the same amount of time as the original work, then I would accept that
If they want to carry it out at a later date (up to two weeks from now) I would also agree

Try that, and come back with a reply

I know it's not the point m8 but you don't need them anyway.

You say the finish is bumpy? sounds like its been baked for too long and its blistered. Then flattened off with a rotary, if the paint looks cloudy then this is whats happened.
