    Default Side indicators!

Bought some chrome bulbs for the signum however when I went to fit them it looks like the lenses are glued on in the same way the badges are? Is this correct or has someone done something stupid to mine?

The how 2 doesnt say anything about this and I'm worried that I'll ruin them!

they really shouldnt be, should be a wee clip behind the lense that a fine flat blade screwdriver will release. btw, there is an orage filter in the lens so it may not be much point unless your going to break them apart to remove it

Someone probably broke the clip and glued them on.

    They should clip in

But it looks like the same foam pads that hold the badges on and it's the same both sides! I can't believe it would be so neat if someone had broken it previously?

Anyone done this on a facelift signum?

they are the same as a preface. the pads are there to protect the paint work from teh hard plastic. they are a very snug fit tbh, it took a bit of work when i took mine off to fit the white repeaters

I wrapped an old credit card size piece of plastic in lens cloth and slid it behind indicator and paint work and it presses clips in and you can get it out. I think door to front of car was the best direction to go.

Take it easy though to avoid marking paint.

    Should do, yes.

If I recall correctly, the best way to remove them is to slightly prise out the end of the indicator nearest the front of the car first, then sort of apply pressure on the whole assembly towards the rear of the car, then pull the indicator out.

Kinda hard to explain, but it's just how the securing clips work.
