Default Headlight washers - never worked!

Sorry if this is in the wrong section, mods please move if it is.

Ever since owning the VXR the headlight washers have never worked, not really bothered me that much - but as they are there I would now like them to work.

I can pull out the jet washer cover quite easily by hand to expose the jets with very little resistance so they dont appear to be stuck.

I thought first port of call would be the fuse, but this appears to be fine - if anyone can confirm the fuse number and location just to make sure I'm looking at the right one.

Other then that any other suggestions to trace the fault please?

    Cheers peeps
    Andy

Do they only work when the headlights are on?

    dont work at all.

They are meant to work when the headlights are on and you pull the stalk (oh er missus!) towards you to wash the windscreen, it then washes the headlights

Relay maybe? White one at top of fuse box. Fuse is the 30amp one in position 13 or 14.

Headlight washers only work with the headlights on, that's by design.

Fuse is number 14 from memory (30A) and the relay is the white one right at the back of the small fuse box under the bonnet (assuming it's the same as the pre-face).

Check the plug going onto the bigger pump on the bottle too.

Is it possible someone's turned them off with Tech2 because they didn't like them? They have to be marked as present on the system in order to work.

Check the fuses around F14 mate - the facelifts have a different fuse numbers than the prefacelift and I spent ages trying to figure out why mine weren't working using a prefacelift haynes manual...
