Likely a seized or sticking caliper.

Take the caliper off and ensure the slide bolts are free. If they are stiff then there is your culprit

More than likely mate, it'll either be the cable sticking, the piston sticking or it could be that the metal around the rubber slides has corroded tightening the rubber around the caliper slide pins hth

If they are like most brakes, carefully clean them up with some grit paper and apply a thin coat of either copper slip or silicon rubber grease (unfortuntaley this sint a job for chain lube).

Make sure there isnt too much on a light coating will be enough.

If you continue to drive you may warp your discs.

You just need to push the plastic slide guides out and using a piece of sand paper remove the corrosion. Then clean out the insides of the plastic guides and the slides and refit then some copper grease on the slides and refit.

Why, oh why, oh why, is it always the drivers side...

If the rear offside is overheating, check the front nearside brake and compare
Then compare the front pads, you may fnd the front nearside pads have been doing more work than the front offside pads as a result
