    rolleyes lowering springs?? for v6

    i have a 2006 v6 desiel sri vectra, facelift model. i am looking lowerin springs that will have my front tyre sittin nice around my wing.. what springs would be the best for me.. as i have seen pictures on this site with 35mm springs installed in a sri vectra and their seems to be no real diffrence.... thanks guys

    You'll struggle to find lower then 30mm drop for the v6cdti. I looked when I had mine

    I am findin out that to myself. I found ones that lower it 35 in the front and 30 in the rear but i dont want to buy them if they only lower her 5mm. Did u end up puttin 30mm ones in ur car then?

    I am findin that out myself now so i am. Did u end up putting 30mm one's in ur car then? I found ones that r meant to lower it 35mm in the front and 30mm in the rear but i dont want to waste my money on them if they only lower it 5mm like

    Yep, but I was only changing my springs for handling not looks. If you want lower you will need coilovers but the ride will suffer. I have gone with bilstein b8 shocks and eibachs on my current vec and would have replaced the shocks on my last one with the same but I sold it

    Coil overs is what's needed I've got full irmscher suspension on mine an it's not low enough at the front IMO

    didnt want to here that words, coilovers lol.. u think it wouldnt be handy enough getting springs for it, since its so handy gettin the ones for the 1.9 engine desiel vectra's. how much would you need to lower it by, 40 or 45mm?? to have it sittin wee

    Pictures arnt the best but hopefully you can see
    30mm lower the rears look nice in arches but IMO front needs to be another 15/20 mm lower
