    Default Remap Results...

Just got back from MAS Performance. What a day i chose to drive over there! lovley weather.

Anyhow, I knew my car was down on power due to my inlet swirl flaps been fubarred. (****ed) Ben had a look at these and said they will be causing me to loose a noticable amount of boost!!! So they are bad.

    Anyhow,

Standard, Came out at 146bhp (which wasnt too bad imo, with the inlet been as it was)

After the map, I got 180bhp (there abouts), Ben said i would be loosing anything upto 10bhp due to the state of my inlet swirl valves! Thankfully ive got it booked in next weds for its new inlet and cam belt.
(will add picks when he emails them over to me)

The drive at first didnt seem much different tbh, but then i got onto roads where i could actually use the accelorator, and yes! it makes a difference, much smoother, much better pick up and just in general a much better drive.

Im happy, and will be even happier when my inlet is done

Ben's a top bloke. I was down on Saturday and I have to say I notice a big improvement over my DTUK tuning box which managed 170bhp on the rollers.

We removed it and ran it as standard which gave 150bhp, respectable for a car with 140,000 miles on the clock.

Now I'm up to 190bhp which I'm delighted with and the power delivery is much better than it was with the tuning box attached.

    Default

    Cost me £220.00

I took the same route there and back.

On way there, I did 44mpg, on return journy i did 57mpg which was quite impressive i think, worth it just for that! over 10mpg extra. Obviously conditions varies slightly, but was a clear increase in MPG. My MPG will also go up again once i get the inlet done.
