looking good, no doubt everyone will post their results as and when. There no way that regal would of allowed us all to be in there whilst the car was going.

cheers for letting me come along. Glad you all liked the noise from her - so much better thanks to the Miltek exhaust but just wait till I get the headers on next spring - that'll lift it up a few more decibels Power readings did top 310 at the wheels but the one he printed out for me only shows 305bhp. Not bad but quite a bit down on Dasteks quoted 334 at the wheels. Have checked with a few guys that normally test Monaro's and had he done a 4th gear run as I suggested it would have added around 20bhp to the total at the wheels. This is due to the gearing in the T56 gearbox which brings it a lot closer to Dastek's figure who did do the run in 4th. His guestimate of 340-345 at flywheel is well out. I've done a fair bit of checking with people that have compared their results with engine dynos and 17-20% losses from transmission are more realistic giving an estimated flywheel of 360-370. I'd suggest that the same will be true for the Vectra guys as well and you can add on significantly more than his 3-4% for losses due to transmission if working out your flywheel figures.

the loss of hp from fly to wheel on a chassis dyno is specific to the speed of the rollers. faster you go the more losses you get
