In the earlier days they used to have such a measly budget, something like 1000 quid werent it.. A full respray was out of the question, ED used to go over a whole panel or bonnet with a rattle can.... Nowadays their budget is 10k plus, and if the bodywork has so much as dint its filled and full body respray..

I think I preferred the older cheaper wheeler dealer series..

Yup, I said exactly the same last week. Much as some of it is still interesting to watch, it's now totally out of reach of anybody that fancies a go at doing similar.

Yeah agree the old Ones were cracking getting a real banger and doing it up.
