Default Thinking of painting the calipers

Any advice on painting the calipers? I'm looking on doing them Saturday in red. These are the questions burning in my head. I'm looking for a shiny gloss finnish.

    Spray or paint?
    How do i prep them?
Where does anyone recommend i get the paint from?
