Installing new ICE (first timer Q)

Hi guys, sorry to be a pain and ask such a noob question, but I've had a bit of trouble finding a definite answer anywhere.

I'm about to replace the stock unit in my 05 vectra with a Sony XAV622, and I'm just wondering if I will be able to use the stock cage with the new unit or if I'll need a new one to fit a facia?

I live in Australia and its frustratingly hard to find much in the way of parts/info etc on vectras here, so I was stoked to find these forums! It's looking like I'll have to order the new facia/possible cage from the UK as there are no stockists I can find here at home, so I was just wanting to get an order on the way if need by while I wait for my new stereo unit to arrive! Thanks for any help and patience!

*forgot to mention the new unit is double din, hence the possibility of recycling the cage*

You can customise the old cage to work but it will be a bit of a dirty fix in my opinion. Enough to get you buy.

I buy most of my ICE stuff from this dealer who will over sea deliver also...

They have all the parts for the fitting and wiring of your new head unit etc...

Is the Vectra branded a Holdan somthing in Oz or did you import it?

Thanks mate. I had actually checked out that site and they seem to be the best with prices and range etc so I think I might give them a go.
So far i've managed to track down a wiring loom and euro antenna adapter, so I'm hoping that all I need now is the facia and a cage that fits.
And yep its a Holden Vectra over here, only had the car 6 months and I love it, it's just now I'm discovering the difficulty getting bits and pieces for it.
