    Default Scottish Rolling road day

Had a great day out at AVA motorsport today but OMG how cold was it Really good to see the old faces again and to meet the new one's, Andy, Joe, Mad Martin, Crombie, POAH and Tosh

We actually had a decent turn out considering the day it was but due to unfortunate circumstances we only managed to get 5 veccy's on the rollers

As you can see from the photo's below not much space around

I went first on the roller's and manged to get 160 BHP at the wheels which was respectable considering i only had the box set at 12 noon

Next up was the Pogo, who was DESPRATE to whoop my @ss but unfortunatly he only managed 153 bhp

This is when i eventually managed to settle down and rememebr about my camera(sorry folks )

Davie K went on the rollers and duly spanked both our @ss's with his V6 which was on a low map and still produced 171BHP

MAD martin was next on the rollers and to say it was evenful was understatment of the year... Firstly the car kept cutting out and would not rev, some head scratching later we found out the CR1 loom was on the wrong way round. On his first run he managed 140ish but Marty thought this was pish so out came the box for a screw next run was 130 he had turned the box down LOL Marty wasn't going to be beat, out came the screw driver and turned the box to the MAX and achieved the best of the day for the 1.9's of 163BHP

Next up was the long travelled Joe who put in fantastic effort mate to travel from Ellon all the way down for a meet, well done mate His being an auto gave the guy's at AVA a new challenge, it eventually put out 114 BHP but no where near full power due to not having a sport mode box

That was all of the club who ran but now for some automotive porn, the beast that was the MONARO All i can say is FFS what a tool, when it was on the rollers we were all playing pocket billiards

Here are a couple of piccies of the guy's trying to look intelligent as Alan explained the working's of the rollers etc

Once again guy's, superb effort for making it today and a special thanks to David B who got the ball rolling but unfortunately could not make it

    Steven
