Default Nice drive suddenly changed to being annoyed

    Morning all

    Just a quick one

Yesterday I was having a nice drive just driving along minding my own business had the little one in the back looked in my rear view mirror seen a ambulance blues going I was in left Hand lane on a motorway anyway it got closer I was slowing down when it moved lanes to from what I guessed was to come off at a slip road by this time I was approaching the slip road so i slowed right down pulled over so it could pass then I indicated (both times to pull over and to move off) when this D@@@@k head was right up my bum flashing doing the hand signals what a nooob so in the space ov seconds I was boiled up spoilt my journey kept thinking what a ****** i just shouted and pointed at the ambulance saying that's why I pulled in ffs

they are allowed to undertake with the blues and twos on so if you were not leaving at the junction you could've pulled out into the middle lane. I'm guessing he/she was being considerate and trying to avoid going around you and cutting you up to get off at the junction.....

Had a similair thing the other week, ambulance fighting through four lanes of traffic in rush hour, all traffic parts like moses at the red sea, then some old dude in a Honda Jazz follows him through all the traffic to get through the rush hour. The car following wasn't "with" the ambulance as he was then followed through a local town (all be it about ten cars back).

Sorry for the rant, but queue jumping and cutting people up because of some deluded impression that their time is more precious than every body elses really gets my goat. But this old guy needed a slap up the side of his head.

You'd have to be a complete knob to use an emergency vehicle as cover to get through traffic - isn't there some regulation about that?

I posted about a run in an Ambulance I had lately. We were being escorted by a fast response CRV too and still people would not get out of our way, Blue light and sirens, flashing headlights and still people blatantly refused to get out of the way.

There's a lesson here mate. Don't slow down for anything. Always use it as an excuse to get your boot down
