    Default door mirror

    Hi

My door mirror fell off today. Vectra C 2007
Glass is ok but needs to be stuck back onto backing plate.
My question is, should the mirror be reflective on both sides? or has it been replaced in the past with aftermarket and stuck in place.
If i stick it back on will the glue stop the heat getting to the glass? and what glue to use.

    des

took it apart laid it on the bench and used spray evo stick used for fixing carpets down with and reattached the backing onto the glass, hope it holds???

Glue it back together and keep it as a spare

Superglue doesn't allow for expansion and contraction. In short, it could lead to the mirror cracking.
