Default me thinks i need a auto electrician in or around the blackpool area

been having a issue with my lambda sensor for a few mth now changed it twice for a universal one but still didnt work kept on giving me fault saying low voltage then i thought i would buy a second hand one and that gave me high voltage so today i thought i would raid the bank and bought 2 new tyres and a proper new lambda sensor just fitted it cleared fault and again spanner light.
so ive had a proper look at the wiring that comes out of the loom in to the plug on which the lambda sensor conects to and 2 of the 4 wires just as it goes in to the plug to me dont look right it has a very little kink which to me looks like they could be broke inside.

would a auto electrician be able to fix this by putting a new plug on and cutting back the broken wire or would i need a new engine loom
or could i buy a plug and do it myself

is their anyway of testing to see if the wires are broken

Vehicle : Mk1 renault scenic... I know I know but it drives

    Trim : Basic

    Engine : 1.6 16v

    Year : 2003

    Have you checked voltage?

easy enough to check cable resistance etc

And would be easy fix for auto electrician.

Match cable size and strip back to good bit
