    Default rear bearing/hub knackered?

Whats the tell tale sign that you rear bearing/hub is goosed? Its a noise of sorts but those that have had this prob, what should i be listening for?

My tyres are fine and so is my suspension and alignment...

As long as you haven't had the tyres changed since this noise started
You need to spine the wheel affected, to hear any rumble. Just done my OSR, same problem.
when i spun the wheel, it was only just noticeable.

I am tempted to just change both sides anyway, are there any recommended sellers or makes of these or are they all the same.. I have changed one before on another members car last summer so doing it myself is no problem..

I can see a pair on the bay.. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VAUXHALL-V...item45fd925cf1

I take it these are the same for all models, it seems that way?

The noise if i try and describe it is not a continuous droning sound its more of a rub rub rub type sound... Does this sound familiar to anybody?

Nige when my offside front hub went last year it was noticeable by a low droning noise, which became more evident on left hand turns .

I am 90% sure this coming from the rears though Bob.. Its tricky to isolate which corner though.. I will need to have passenger in the back to try and track down the noise while I am driving.. At first i did think it was the fronts while I was going up the M3 on Sunday but I now reckon its just the noise echoing and it is in fact coming from behind me..

However its not a droning noise, it is very much a rub rub rub type sound. I can only hear it with the radio off etc..

Are they a standard bearing for all veccys? Got a 56 plate Sri 150. Droning like a gooden from the rear. Where would be the best place to get a pair for mine and are they an easy fit? Is there a 'how to' on here fellas?
****** car!!! It's al coincidental but ' front parking lamp' warning came up on the screen and then tge next day EML came on. It's been on for 2 days. Any ideas with that one? Car feels ok. Full power.
