is there a new type of mirror on new vectra c .fri night i was stuck behind a taxi at traffic lights...
it was a 56 reg estate i noticed he had a display at the bottom of his rearview mirror ,first time i have seen this is it a new thing or a add on he has done any ideas out there as it looks cool and i want one .

you can buy a taxi meter mate it looks like a normal mirror when meters off but when you put meter on it gives you a display on the mirror of fare extras etc don't know if this is what you saw m8 but sounds like it

See PHM site under meters, didn't want one myself, it's like stealth charging, best thing for a cabby not wanting agg at the end of a journey is a bold meter that catches the eye, if the billy (punter) see's it clocking they have an idea as to how the fare arrived at the end figure, just dumping...err that's 29.80 mate on em at the other end can cause problems.
